About Us

From the Founder: Capricious Music began as my personal vision to freely produce music without restrictions, grounded in a restless creative energy and a passion for soulful storytelling. Playing it safe by industry standards is considered a compromise in creativity. Music, to me, isn’t just background fodder—a term I use intentionally to highlight how deeply I feel about its role in my existence. Music is a companion for all people, and all seasons of life: for joy, heartbreak, curiosity, and those moments when words alone can’t express what’s inside.

As the founder and sole operator of Capricious Music, I draw upon my own journey as an artist in the folk genre, weaving together others close to my soul; blues, jazz, rock, R&B, and Soul, and many other influences. Each project is a chance to explore new sounds, to connect, and to share something authentic.
